Unstitched Suit & Saree Blouse Measurement Guide

Most Libass-e-Sundas suits and sarees in our current edit are sold unstitched. That means the final fit is created by your tailor rather than by a fixed ready-made size. Use the measurements below as a checklist before stitching.

How to Measure for a Kameez

  • Shoulder: Measure straight from one shoulder point to the other.
  • Bust: Measure around the fullest part of the bust, keeping the tape level.
  • Waist: Measure around your natural waist without pulling the tape tight.
  • Hip: Measure around the fullest part of the hips.
  • Armhole: Measure comfortably around the shoulder and underarm area.
  • Sleeve length: Measure from the shoulder point to your preferred sleeve end.
  • Bicep: Measure around the fullest part of the upper arm.
  • Kameez length: Measure from the top of the shoulder to your preferred hem length.

Saree Blouse Measurements

  • Bust
  • Under-bust
  • Blouse length
  • Shoulder width
  • Armhole
  • Sleeve length and bicep
  • Front neck depth
  • Back neck depth

Ask your tailor to confirm ease, seam allowance and style-specific adjustments before cutting the fabric. Neckline depth and sleeve style are personal design choices, so record them separately from body measurements.

Trouser Measurements

If your product includes trouser fabric, record waist, hip, rise, thigh, trouser length and preferred bottom opening. Always check the individual product page because some two-piece listings include only shirt fabric and dupatta.

Before Stitching

Measure over light clothing, keep the tape level, and take each measurement twice. Fabric width, weave and design placement can affect cutting, so your tailor should inspect the actual fabric before finalizing the pattern.
